This sweet girl was rescued from the streets of San Juan, Puerto Rico along with her mom and brother after a kind rescuer refused to let them grow up homeless. Today, she's safe in foster care and showing everyone what an incredible family dog she's going to be. Her foster describes Annie as the sweetest bundle of joy you'll ever meet. She loves meeting new people and has done wonderfully with other young dogs, happily making new friends wherever she goes. While she certainly enjoys playtime, Annie also has an "off switch." After a fun day of exploring and playing, she's perfectly content curling up in her kennel for a long nap or snuggling close to her favorite person. Annie is incredibly food motivated and loves using her brain. Tug toys? Not so much. Treat puzzles and snuffle mats? Those are definitely more her style! She enjoys figuring things out and would thrive with a family that continues providing enrichment and positive training. Even though she's still a young puppy, her foster has been working hard to safely socialize her. Annie has been carried along on short shopping trips to experience new sights, sounds, people, and animals. She takes it all in stride, riding comfortably in a carrier and staying calm and confident through new experiences. Her foster says she's as cool as a cucumber. Annie has the perfect balance of playful puppy energy and a calm, affectionate nature. She'll happily play with her friends, explore the world by your side, then curl up in your lap for a well-earned nap.
