Meet Ashby, an adorable 2 year old, 11-pound, Poodle mix with a gentle heart and a happy spirit. Ashby loves being with his people and is happiest when he's close by, whether you're relaxing on the couch or heading out for an adventure. He is a chill car passenger and wonderful with both adults and children. Ashby has a loving, affectionate personality that makes him easy to adore. Some of Ashby's favorite things include: - Belly rubs (especially while lying on his back!) - Being petted and showered with affection - Going on long walks - Zooming around when he's feeling extra happy - Treats—he's very food motivated and eager to learn! Ashby is potty trained, crate trained, and knows several basic commands. He's currently working on his leash manners and is making great progress. He gets very excited to meet other dogs and will benefit from continued guidance to help him greet and play with them calmly. Ashby is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, and microchipped, so he's ready to start his new life with a loving family. If you're looking for a loyal little shadow who will fill your days with love, cuddles, and plenty of smiles, Ashby may be the perfect match. All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption. Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog.
