Dog Breed: Border Collie / Great Pyrenees / Mixed (medium coat). Adoption Fee: 400.00. 3 Border Collie/Great Pyr mixes Meet Courtney! She is one of three little Border Collie mix puppies that came to us from Alabama. It's possible that they are mixed with Great Pyr since Cassie is all white, but these puppies will never be the size of a Great Pyr. They will be the size of a border collie. These are super sweet and kind little puppies. They are very playful and love people. Though love their stuffed toys and get along with all the other puppies that they get to play with. These puppies have 2 DAPP Vaccines and are microchipped. If you don't have an approved adoption application and want to be considered for them, you will want to apply online at homewardbound2u.rescuegroups (our application does not load well on phones. Originating from combining these two distinct working breeds, its purpose is often to blend the herding prowess of the Border Collie with the guarding instincts of the Great Pyrenees. Physically, expect a medium-to-large dog, typically exhibiting a dense, weather-resistant coat, often in shades of black, white, merle, or tricolor, with a build that suggests both agility and strength. Temperamentally, they are generally loyal, intelligent, and protective, making them excellent family guardians. However, their intelligence also means they require consistent training and plenty of mental and physical stimulation to prevent boredom. While their protective nature can be wonderful for families, early socialization is crucial. Due to their size and need for exercise, they are not typically suited for apartment living and thrive in homes with ample outdoor space.
