Dog Breed: Flat-coated Retriever (medium coat). Meet Nick (aka Buddy) ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS Adopters must live in Michigan. A fenced-in backyard is required. Nick is a handsome 73 lb, 3-year-old Flat-Coated Retriever with a huge heart. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and ready for his forever home. Nick is a loving, affectionate Velcro dog who enjoys being with his people. He has a great balance of playful energy and calm companionship and does well with dogs, cats, and children. Nick is not crate trained but does well loose in the house and has not been destructive. He is still working on basic manners and would benefit from continued positive-reinforcement training. He also gets anxious and barks during car rides. He can live a happy, comfortable life with proper care, but his adopters will need to manage his activity and weight.
