Dog Breed: Springer Spaniel / Mixed. Meet Cookie... a 9 week old Springer Spaniel mix with the most beautiful eyes you've ever seen. She's absolutely stunning from her beautiful eyes all the way down to her spotted toes. She will medium sized when fully grown. Cookie is a curious lady who loves to do all the puppy things from bouncing around in the yard to snuggling up on your lap when she needs a nap. She is working on crate training but definitely prefers to sleep in an open pen at night. Being a lady and all, she is very talkative when she wants something. She will let you know when she has to go out at night. And she is doing very well with potty training but will need consistent help to keep her on track. Cookie loves everyone she meets, adults and kids, not interested in cats and loves other dogs. She is spayed, microchipped, dewormed and has all her up to date vaccines. She will need rabies when she is old enough. A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds.
