Dog Breed: Boxer / Mixed (short coat). At just 6 months old, Rouge is still a puppy with his whole life ahead of him. Like many young dogs, he’s full of energy, loves walks, enjoys playing fetch, and is ready to learn. His previous owners described him as good with strangers, and shelter staff says he’s playful, a little shy at first, and has lots of potential. Rouge is looking for an experienced home that understands young dogs need patience, structure, and training. He’ll do best with someone committed to helping him build confidence and good manners through positive reinforcement. Because of his history of resource guarding, he’ll need a home that can safely manage and continue working on that behavior, and no kids. Every dog deserves a chance, and Rouge is hoping the right person will see beyond his past and give him the opportunity to become the amazing companion he can be.
