Dog Breed: German Shepherd Dog / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat). Thelma is a very sweet young German Shepherd/Lab mix puppy who spends much of her time in contemplation. She is a thinker and can often be seen sitting, watching simply taking in her surroundings. That's the serious side of Thelma. However, there is a very playful, loving side of Thelma, as well. She loves to engage in romping and tussling with her littermates; playing tug of war with a stick or anything handy that may serve as the "prize". She has a great degree of calm about her, will sit still for photos, and will most likely be very easy to train. She wants to please. Thelma would do well in a home where her intelligent demeanor would be tapped and utilized to bring out the awesomeness that lies within this beauty. She would do very well with children to grow up with. A fenced yard is recommended in order to allow her to romp freely and play.
