Have you been looking for someone to supervise every squirrel, passing dog, and suspicious Amazon delivery? Congratulations, Paula has been waiting for you. She is a feisty little firecracker with a whole lot of terrier packed into one adorable package. She's got opinions, confidence, and just enough sass to keep life interesting. Her favorite hobbies include: Lounging dramatically in the grass while keeping tabs on the neighborhood, digging holes at the beach, running full speed until she completely runs out of gas and then transforming into a professional cuddle bug the second she's tired. Paula has officially declared herself a Furniture Dog™. Couch? Hers. Bed? Also hers. If your dream dog sleeps politely on the floor, Paula respectfully suggests you continue your search. If your idea of happiness is a warm little puppy snoring beside you during Netflix, she's already packing her bags. Paula currently lives with two elementary-aged kids and thinks they're pretty great. She also has a giant Newfoundland roommate and uses her to learn how to dog. Paula has loved all dogs she's met so far. Her humans work from home, so she's only had to kennel for about five hours at a stretch. She sleeps quietly in her kennel overnight, although she may file a formal complaint (at impressive volume) for the first minute or two before deciding life isn't so bad after all. Then it's lights out...or Bluey on. Yes, her family leaves Bluey playing for her to keep her company. The most adorable bushy eyebrows are developing along with what her foster humans are calling her Fu Manchu mustache. They're still 50/50 on whether her ears are going to stick straight up or not. She's working hard on potty training and learning her puppy manners, and she's incredibly food motivated. Got treats? Will perform. Paula is equal parts spicy and snuggly, adventurous and affectionate. She'll happily help you dig holes, patrol the neighborhood, binge Bluey, and then curl up next to you like she's always belonged there. If you're looking for a permanent cuddle buddy with a dash of chaos, a sprinkle of sass, and enough personality to keep you laughing every day, Paula is ready to move in. Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
