Snuggles is already off to a great start with her manners! She is comfortable in her crate, doing well with potty training, and is a smart, eager-to-please puppy who will continue to thrive with consistent training and guidance. She loves kids, enjoys meeting new people, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Her friendly, social personality makes her a fantastic companion for an active family looking for a fun-loving pup to include in all of lifes adventures. If you are looking for a loyal, energetic best friend who will keep you smiling and always be ready for the next adventure, snuggles is ready to head home with you! Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $300. Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
