Meatball is a sweet and curious girl who is learning to navigate her world and would truly thrive with a patient and loving adopter ready to help her grow in confidence. Physically, Meatball is an active dog who enjoys walks on a leash and demonstrates good leash manners. She is still working on mastering basic commands but is highly treat-motivated and eager to learn, making training a rewarding experience. Meatball comes when called reliably and appears to be excellent with potty training. Personality-wise, Meatball started off a bit shy and cautious but quickly warms up with gentle affection and treats. She loves being petted and shows a playful, independent, and curious nature. While she may need some time to feel fully comfortable, especially in new situations, she responds well to calm, consistent guidance and is easily redirected when needed. Meatball is especially good with women and enjoys human interaction. Meatball’s ideal home is one where she can receive consistent training, socialization, and plenty of patience to help her blossom into a confident and joyful companion. An adopter experienced with dogs who need a little extra time to adjust would be perfect for her. She would do best in a calm and understanding environment that supports her growth and nurtures her affectionate spirit.
