Description
Dog Breed: Hound / Mixed (short coat). Meet Theodore Theodore is a 10-month-old Hound mix with a big body, an even bigger heart, and absolutely no concept of personal space—and honestly, that's part of his charm. This lovable goofball is completely obsessed with people. If you're nearby, Theodore assumes you're there to be his best friend, his cuddle buddy, and his audience for his happy, bouncy antics. He's playful, incredibly sweet, and always ready to turn an ordinary day into an adventure. He's still very much a puppy at heart, so expect zoomies, goofy moments, and plenty of enthusiastic affection from this oversized lap dog. Theodore lives life with his whole heart, and he's just looking for someone to share it with. If your dream dog is equal parts best friend, cuddle bug, and happy shadow, Theodore is ready to make himself right at home—preferably as close to you as physically possible.

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
