Dog Breed: Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie (short coat). Adoption Fee: 450. Lewistown, PA, Kennel License # 18167, Tootsie spent her entire life living in a rabbit hutch, and she is only now discovering what the world truly feels like. She’s still acclimating to life outside of her sheltered past. She doesn’t yet understand toys, is petrified of a leash, and is currently uncomfortable being picked up. She welcomes affection and attention but remains timid as she learns to trust. She has not yet been exposed to children. Despite everything, she keeps her crate very clean and is trying her best to learn what “home” means. Tootsie needs a patient, gentle adopter who genuinely wants to rescue a girl who deserves the world and is willing to help her blossom at her own pace.
