Dog Breed: Bluetick Coonhound / Mixed (short coat). Please note that PAHS does NOT do online adoption applications. You must come to the shelter in person to meet the PAHS pets. Odin is a 1-year-old male Bluetick Coonhound who’s already neutered. He came to us as an owner surrender because the other family dog did not get along with him. With his striking black and white merle coat and 50-pound frame, Odin is both handsome and distinguished. He’s smart, a little independent, and full of energy, always ready to play. A home with plenty of outdoor space would be perfect for him. Loyal and affectionate, Odin has formed strong bonds with several staff members he considers “his people.” He gets along well with other dogs and would be gentle and patient with children. And when he’s especially happy or playful, he’ll treat you to his beautiful bay. Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120. Cat/kitten adoption fees are $75. All pets will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a discount spay/neuter certificate to be used at participating vet clinics to help with the cost of spay/neuter. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under "special needs" our dogs have screened heart worm negative. *****Please note that PAHS does NOT do online adoption applications.
