Dog Breed: Black Mouth Cur / Mixed. Meet Remi! Remi is a sweet and affectionate 7 year old Black Mouth Cur mix who is looking for a fresh start after her family made the difficult decision to surrender her when they were no longer able to care for her. She is wonderful with children, gets along well with cats, and has done well with other dogs. Because she previously lived with a female dog that was not always kind to her, we recommend slow introductions and supervised interactions with any resident dogs as everyone adjusts to their new environment. Remi is currently heartworm positive, but thanks to our partnership with Rockwall PAWS, her treatment is fully sponsored. Her adoption fee is $125 and includes her spay, microchip, current rabies vaccination, Bordetella vaccination, and Distemper Parvo vaccination. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
