Dog Breed: Cane Corso Mastiff. *Name: Bianca *Age: Approx 12 weeks old *Current Weight: 20lbs *Adoption fee: $550 (plus $150 spay/neuter deposit, see below for more information) Meet Our Cane Corso Puppies! These adorable 12-week-old Cane Corso puppies are as sweet as they come! They are affectionate, gentle, and incredibly "mushy"—always looking for cuddles, belly rubs, and time with their people. Their loving personalities make it impossible not to fall in love with them. As a giant working breed, these puppies will grow into large, intelligent, and powerful dogs. They are looking for families who understand the commitment that comes with raising a Cane Corso and are dedicated to providing consistent training, socialization, structure, and plenty of positive experiences. A dog buddy in the home is preferred, as they enjoy the companionship of other dogs and benefit from having a confident canine role model. Previous giant or guardian breed experience is also preferred, although we will consider exceptional adopters who have thoroughly researched the breed and are committed to meeting their needs. If you're ready to invest the time and dedication these puppies deserve, you'll be rewarded with a loyal, affectionate companion who will become a cherished member of your family for years to come. IMPORTANT: This dog has not yet been altered. SNARR requires a $150 deposit in addition to your adoption fee, as well as a strictly enforced Spay/Neuter Contract stating you will have this dog altered within 6 months of adoption. Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
