Description
Dog Breed: Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler / Terrier / Mixed (medium coat). Adoption Fee: 300.00. Hi, I’m Cruiser! I’m an 11-week-old little guy with a BIG love for cuddles, kisses…and WATER! They named me Cruiser, which seems pretty fitting because where there is water, I will travel! If you can’t find me, there’s a pretty good chance I’m resting IN the water bowl. Why sleep next to it when you can sleep in it?! ❤️ Super lovey & cuddly Certified water-bowl lounger Working hard on my potty training Professional snuggler Searching for my forever family I’m still just a baby, so I have lots to learn—but I have even more love, puppy kisses, and adventures to give. Could you be the forever family I’ve been cruising around looking for? Cruiser's adoption fee is $300.00 which includes 3 rounds of shots, neuter, microchip and 1 month of heartworm preventative. If you are interested, please complete the Adoption Application on our website at a4apetpantry Disclaimer: Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of our dogs, we are only guessing at breed mix.

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
