Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat). Foster or forever home wanted, meet Harrison! This sweet pup had a bit of a rough start, when he landed at the Lancaster shelter. A woman arrived at the Lancaster shelter with five dogs in her car claiming she found them loose on the side of the road. They asked her to come to the side window where they could impound the dogs. Next thing you know, she opened the car door and let them loose in their parking lot! Luckily the shelter staff was able to round them up and secure them. Harrison and another male puppy (Ford), along with what we believe to be his mother, were among the five let loose. We were able to arrange to get Harrison, his sibling and momma out of the shelter once their mandatory stray hold was up. They are all sweet and friendly pups, so we are happy to rescue them and be able to help them all find loving forever homes. Harrison and his brother are your typical happy puppies that will thank you with lots of kisses! Currently Harrison is in boarding, so we'd love to get him into a home as soon as possible. The volunteers and staff gave him a thumbs up, and he received the highest possible behavior score while in the shelter. We will continue to update his bio as we learn more about him.
