Description
Dog Breed: Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: $300. Meet BOBA TEA If you are looking for a bouncy, loyal sidekick with adorable blue eyes and a heart full of love, I'm your girl! Age: 11 weeks Gender: Female Breed: Cattle Dog mix (maybe Terrier too) Estimated Size: Full grown I am estimated to be between 30-35 lbs Hi! I'm Boba Tea and I'm 9 lbs of puppy curiosity and sweetness. I may have a slight visual impairment, but don't let that fool you—I get around great and love exploring the world with my nose, ears, and heart! I'm already a superstar in my crate and sleep quietly through the entire night. I'm also working hard on potty training. Like most puppies my age, I'm deep in my teething phase, so I love to chew. Your toes and fingers are my favorites. I would probably do best with families who have slightly older children that understand puppy manners. I enjoy playing with other dogs and would be fine with another furry sibling to teach me the ropes, but I would also be fine being the center of your world. I haven't met any cats yet, so I'm not sure how I'd feel about them, but given my age and manners around chickens and other dogs, my foster mom is confident I would do well. I'm looking for a patient family who will help me continue learning, shower me with love, and celebrate all the little milestones that come with raising a puppy. In return, I promise plenty of tail wags, puppy snuggles, and unconditional love. Could I be the missing piece your family has been looking for? Apply to meet me today! bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
