Description
Dog Breed: Shepherd / Mixed. Meet Ozzy, the life of the party with the biggest personality and the most beautiful big blue eyes! At just 2–3 months old, Ozzy is a playful, energetic and loving little guy who is always ready to have some fun. He loves running around, exploring everything he can find and playing with his foster buddy Erling — but once he’s tired himself out, he’s just as happy burying his head in your lap for a nap. Ozzy has been working on his wee wee pad training and already practicing basics like “sit” and “lay down.” Ozzy is looking for a family ready for all the fun that comes with raising a puppy, playtime, training, adventures and plenty of snuggles. With his goofy personality, gorgeous blue eyes and love for everyone he meets, Ozzy is ready to be the life of the party in his forever home!

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
