WILLOW SPRING - BORDER COLLIE / MIXED (MEDIUM COAT) DOG FOR ADOPTION

Dog Breed: Border Collie / Mixed (medium coat). Willow was born around January 19, 2026 and might weigh in the 40-pound range when done filling out. Willow is a typical Border Collie and has a ton of energy to expend before it's time to cuddle and she really loves to snuggle. Willow rides well in the car and walks ok on leash. We are told Willow is good with cats, and she has done well with the dogs here after slow introductions. Willow is a grazer. Her humans put 2 cups of food down in the morning and she nibbled throughout the day. She is house trained (on a tether) and goes quickly and comes back in expecting a treat. She is very good about boundaries and respected a 3' gate in the home. We are perplexed as her humans who were much too elderly and inactive said that she is a runner because we've had her off leash several times and have even had her run alongside the 4wheeler going to the top of the mountain behind us for a good workout, all off leash. She was fine being crated when needed. We will be looking for a home that understands Border Collie energy and can meet her exercise needs. Willow is incredibly sweet, and it's been a pleasure to get to know her. The Adoption Fee for this dog is $500. Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a "complete" pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY. Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility.
