OBI - ROTTWEILER / MIXED (SHORT COAT) DOG FOR ADOPTION

Description

Dog Breed: Rottweiler / Mixed (short coat). Obi is a 95 lb ox. He is social and often times has zero respect for space. Obi will NEED and require obedience training. While he does know sit he is not consistent with listening because he has the attention span of a fly. Obi is a large boy----he can be reactive (barky) with other dogs so meet and greets with other dogs is required and must be scheduled in advance. He has been neutered, vaccinated, wormed, heartworm tested negative, and is microchipped. Due to his size and lack of access to be able to test him----we suggest a home with out cats. It is unknown how he is with children BUT based on his jumping and energy we suspect he would be a candidate to knock down little ones.....so perhaps teenagers and older would be best. Familiarity with the breed is a plus. He is a big boy, strong on lead and can be a bit overwhelming due to his size. Please call ahead to schedule an appt to meet him. Morrow County Dog Shelter, Mt.
