She has made real progress with consistent human interaction, but she will still need a long time before she resembles the kind of social, confident dog most adopters are used to. She is blossoming slowly, and her adopter must be committed to patient, force‑free guidance. Must have: A quiet, adult‑only home with a fenced yard and another confident dog. Exercise: Light to moderate — yard time, gentle exploration. Best with: Calm adopters who understand shy dogs and celebrate small steps. Not ideal for: Busy homes, children, or adopters seeking an instantly social dog. Energy level: Low to moderate — gentle, observant, and playful with other dogs. Bella now walks very well on leash, a huge milestone for her. She is still learning spatial awareness and may dart through doorways, bump into legs, or knock into people when unsure or excited. She is also still learning grooming and needs significant desensitization, especially with her feet and rear end. Bella thrives with other dogs — they bring out her confidence, joy, and playfulness.
