If you want to skip straight to the application: .carolinapoodlerescue/application/ Here’s Your Quick Peek: PLEASE ASK FOR HOLLY'S FULL STORY! Holly is a sweet, affectionate Labradoodle who’s full of personality and charm. She’s a Velcro dog who loves being close to her people and thrives on attention. Holly is curious, sensitive, and vocal — she’ll let you know when she wants something and loves to be part of the action. Must have: A patient, experienced adopter who can provide structure and supervision. Exercise: Moderate — daily walks and playtime. Best with: Someone home often who enjoys a loyal, loving companion. Not ideal for: Homes with children or shared walls — Holly is vocal and can be nervous with strangers. Energy level: Medium — affectionate, curious, and sensitive. Holly recently underwent successful gastrotomy surgery to remove foreign objects (two play‑dough caps) from her stomach. She recovered beautifully and is now healthy, bright, and back to her normal self. Her bloodwork and follow‑up exams show no ongoing issues, and she’s cleared for adoption. She’s house trained, walks well on leash, and loves snuggling. Holly can be selective with other dogs and tends to chew or swallow small toys, so supervision is important. She’s vocal when anxious and may bark or chew if left alone too long. Good with dogs: Yes. Good with kids: No. Cats: Unknown. Fun fact: Holly’s favorite thing in the world is following her person everywhere — she’s the definition of a loyal shadow. Potential Adopters Dogs can’t drive - and since we’re busy taking care of them, we can’t either! Please check your potential BFF’s location and make sure you’re comfortable traveling to meet them. Breed overview
Overview:
The Miniature Labradoodle is a popular designer dog breed that originated from crossing the Labrador Retriever with the Miniature Poodle, combining the intelligence and low-shedding coat of the Poodle with the friendly, loyal nature of the Labrador. Typically weighing between 15–30 pounds, they have a compact build, wavy or curly coats, and expressive eyes that make them especially appealing. Known for their temperament, Miniature Labradoodles are affectionate, playful, and highly social, making them excellent companions for families, singles, and seniors alike. Their moderate size and adaptable personality allow them to thrive in both houses and apartment living, provided they receive regular exercise and mental stimulation. While generally healthy, they may inherit conditions such as hip dysplasia, eye issues, or allergies, so responsible breeding and preventive care are important. Overall, the Miniature Labradoodle is a loving, versatile dog well-suited to a wide range of households.
