He’s learning what love and safety feel like and will need patience, gentle guidance, and time to settle in. Once he trusts you, he’s sweet, affectionate, and loves to follow his person around like a little shadow. Must have: A calm, patient home with another friendly dog to help him learn and feel secure. Exercise: Light — short play sessions and gentle walks. Best with: Experienced adopters who understand shy dogs and can give him time to adjust. Not ideal for: Homes with small children — he’s tiny and sensitive. Energy level: Medium — playful and curious once comfortable. Eli is working on house training and crate training. He’s good with other dogs and loves to play. He’s cautious at first but warms up quickly with kindness and consistency. Good with dogs: Yes — he needs another dog in the home.
