Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Terrier / Mixed. Wilson is a 7-month-old Labrador mix weighing 40 pounds and expected to grow into a handsome large sized dog of somewhere over 60 pounds. This sweet boy has already experienced more than any puppy should. Born in a shelter, he was adopted as a young pup. But he was then found again as a stray and sadly ended up back where his journey began. Now, Wilson is hoping his next family will be his forever family. Despite his rough start, Wilson has not let it change his loving personality. He is gentle, friendly, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs and kids. He has not yet been tested with cats. Whether he is romping around with canine friends or quietly soaking up affection, Wilson is happiest just being part of the fun. Wilson has an easygoing nature and medium energy level that makes him a joy to have around. He walks well on a leash, but like any young pup, he is still learning the ropes of house and crate training. With a little patience, consistency, and love, Wilson will make an amazing lifelong companion. Wilson has already had enough plot twists in his life. He is ready to trade life on the streets for couch life, and a family who will never let him wonder where he belongs again! * When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine.
