Dog Breed: German Shepherd Dog / Mixed (medium coat). Meet Chloe, the Shepherd mix who's proof that great things come in perfectly sized packages! At around 40 pounds, she's exactly the size so many adopters are searching for—big enough for adventures, small enough to fit comfortably into just about any lifestyle (and leave you plenty of room on the couch). Shelter life has been a little overwhelming for this sweet girl, so she's still finding her footing. Chloe can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but don't let that fool you. Beneath that gentle exterior are hints of a delightfully mischievous personality just waiting to shine. Sweet with a sprinkle of naughty? We'd call that the perfect combination. Chloe already walks nicely on leash, knows a few tricks, and is happily motivated by treats, making her a wonderful candidate for continued training. More importantly, she's looking for a family who will help her build confidence, give her time to decompress, and show her that the world is full of good things.With a little patience and a lot of love, Chloe is sure to blossom into an incredible companion. She wasn’t ready to make dog friends yet, but we hope that as she gets more experience in our shelter playgroups, she’ll be ready to show us her silly side with other dogs.
