Dog Breed: Great Pyrenees / Mixed. This pup will be available to meet starting on 8/8 Sweet, gentle, respectful, and endlessly loving, Snowcap is the kind of dog who makes friends wherever she goes. After arriving at the shelter as an unclaimed stray, we can't help but wonder how such an incredible girl was ever left to wander the streets. Those days are behind her now, and she's ready for a forever family where she'll never have to wonder where her next meal, safe place to sleep, or loving hug will come from again. Snowcap is a true social butterfly. She adores people, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and carries herself with the calm, gentle confidence that Great Pyrenees are so well known for. She's the type of dog who would rather make friends than make trouble, greeting everyone she meets with her soft smile and kind heart. She's also a snack enthusiast! Offer her a tasty treat, and you'll have her full attention. Her food motivation makes her a wonderful candidate for continued training and bonding with her future family. With her gorgeous fluffy white coat, Snowcap will happily accept regular brushing sessions—not only to keep her looking absolutely stunning, but because it's another excuse to spend quality time with the people she loves. A little grooming, a lot of love, and she'll be looking like the majestic mountain girl she was born to be. They were rescued from a shelter in New Mexico. Meet and greets are by appointment only. When we do, it will be updated here. This is all the information we have currently. Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by clicking donate above. Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance. We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances.
