She's already been through more than she should have. Born into a backyard breeder situation, she was adopted from the shelter... only to be returned two days later for being "too hyper." But here's the thing... She's not too much. She's just an 8-month-old Malinois that has never been shown how to be one. Her evaluator saw something completely different. A friendly, outgoing girl who eagerly engaged with people, accepted handling from nose to tail without hesitation, and happily followed anyone willing to spend time with her. She's incredibly food motivated, already starting to figure out basic obedience, and has all the building blocks to become an amazing companion. Social and people-oriented Loves food and is highly trainable Accepts handling all over her body No aggression or reactivity observed during evaluation Low- to medium-drive with a great off switch Ready to learn with the right guidance Tessie doesn't need someone looking for a finished dog. She needs someone who sees the potential in an adolescent Malinois and is excited to help shape it. She'll thrive with an experienced foster who can provide structure, consistency, enrichment, and training. For greater distances, MAD does offer transport assistance for up to 350 miles for the adopter, however transport is primarily on the responsibility of the adopter.
