LEVI* - MASTIFF / MIXED (MEDIUM COAT) DOG FOR ADOPTION

Description

Dog Breed: Mastiff / Mixed (medium coat). Meet Levi, the tan mixed breed with a black muzzle. Levi arrived to the Shelter as a stray so we don’t know much about his life before the Shelter. He ahs been consistently social with people – easy to leash up for playtime out in the exercise yards. Levi does seem very interested in being with people – so much so that he has jumped a 6 foot fence to try to find staff members. Levi is recommended to be securely indoors when left alone to prevent him from leaving to find fun elsewhere in his next home (or get potentially injured if he is out running around). Levi has interacted with other dogs at the Shelter and even engaged in some play. A home with another dog may be a fit after a meet ‘n greet at the Shelter. We do not have any history of Levi with cats or children. Levi is available for pre-adoption. Come meet him, fall in love and take him home after his neuter surgery. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them
