Dog Breed: Boxer (medium coat). Say hello to Marci, a sweet Boxer who's ready to find a family to call her own! Marci recently arrived at the shelter as a stray, so we're still getting to know all the wonderful things about her. What we do know? She's been friendly with our staff and has already started winning hearts with her happy personality. One of Marci's favorite activities so far is heading out for walks... although `walk` might not be the best word. This girl prefers to add a few joyful zoomies into the mix! Watching her bounce around on leash is guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. As we continue learning more about Marci, one thing is already clearâshe's hoping her shelter stay is only a short stop on her journey to a loving home. If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the home. While play groups do help us get to know the dog's better, once they are adopted their new environments and new relationships will influence their behavior in ways we cannot predict.
