Dog Breed: German Shepherd Dog (long coat). All of our dogs are housed in private homes, we do not have a store or a shelter. We do not show dogs to interested parties until they have an approved adoption application. I bet you are looking at this beautiful dog and wondering how she ended up in a rescue. It happens all the time. She was brought to the shelter as a stray and no one seemed to notice she wasn't at home to greet them or to eat. We don't know why. All we can do now is to try and find her another home who won't forget about her. Greta is a lively young black German Shepherd. She is all velocity and no direction. Estimated 6-8 months old, I don't think she has ever been worked with or taught manners. She is not good with cats. Greta is learning manners and she is good with other dogs. She soaks up attention from people but may still be too excitable for small kids.
