Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed. Meet Charlie! At around 7 years old, Charlie is a sweet Lab mix with a gentle heart that's just waiting for the right person to help it shine. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and her 4DX test was negative, so she's ready to find her forever home! Charlie is a bit of a nervous girl and may need a couple of meet-and-greets before she feels comfortable. She'll need a patient adopter who will give her the time she needs to realize that the world isn't such a scary place. Once she trusts you, you'll discover a loving companion who thinks she's the perfect lap dog! She walks nicely on a leash and enjoys staying close to her people. Charlie has previously met children and done well, but we'd like the entire family to come to the meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is a good fit. She seems to do well with calmer dogs, though a dog test is required. We are unsure how she is with cats, so any introductions should be very slow and patient. Charlie has so much love to give—she just needs someone willing to let her bloom at her own pace.
