Dog Breed: German Shepherd Dog / Mixed (medium coat). Adoption Fee: 200. Canyon is a 1 year old, 70lbs, GSD mix. He is potty trained, crate trained, walks well on a leash, and LOVES other dogs and all people! He is comfortable in any situation and is non reactive. Canyon is a silly, goofy boy who loves playing with his foster siblings and fetching balls! He is the life of the party wherever he goes, and thinks that everyone he meets is his friend. Canyon’s dream home is a home where he can run and play with a canine or human sibling, go on hikes, and chase balls all day. Canyon lives peacefully with 2 cats and 3 other dogs. He even leaves his foster mom’s chickens alone! Although he doesn’t currently live with children, he absolutely adores all the children that pet and play with him. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
