She thrives on playtime and would love a home where she has plenty of space to run, play fetch, and show off her trademark zoomies indoors. Lexi is smart and eager to please , she already knows commands like “stop,” “people first” (when coming into the house), “gentle,” “go get the ball,” and “no bite.” She responds well to positive reinforcement and loves learning new things, especially if you make it a game! While she is making strides every day, Lexi is still a work in progress and will need continued training and patience to help her become her best self. Lexi enjoys walks, car rides, and exploring new places. She’s happiest when she’s busy and loves burning off her abundant energy. She’s especially fond of older kids (teenagers and up ), who understand her space and active nature. While she adores belly rubs, she doesn’t stay still for long , there’s too much to see and do! Because she can get anxious with a lot of commotion or too many people at once, we usually crate Lexi when company comes over. Her crate is her safe spot; she loves to eat and relax there, and it helps her feel comfortable when the house gets busy. Lexi would do best with older kids or a family who respects her boundaries. She isn’t good with cats , her play style is a bit too rough , so a cat-free home is essential. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a playful spirit and lots of love to give, Lexi may be the perfect fit.
