Description
Dog Breed: Husky / Labrador Retriever / Mixed. Currently located at our Evansville, IN location Meet Cumin! Cumin is a sweet and playful female puppy born in May 2026 who is ready to bring endless fun, love, and laughter to her forever family! This adorable little girl loves spending time outdoors, especially when the weather is cool. Whether she's splashing in a kiddie pool, running through the mud, or exploring the yard, Cumin is happiest when she's enjoying an adventure. After a busy day of play, you'll often find her stretched out over an air conditioning vent, soaking up the cool breeze. Cumin is full of classic puppy energy with bursts of zoomies followed by long, cozy naps. She loves games of fetch, tug-of-war, and wrestling with her dog friends. She's done well with larger dogs, who have helped teach her respectful play, although she's still getting used to their loud barks. Her own sweet little bark is rarely heard. She's making excellent progress with her training! Cumin keeps her kennel surprisingly clean overnight and even during a five-hour stretch during the day. Potty training is going very well—she's learned to head to the door when she needs to go outside and confidently uses a dog door for both potty breaks and playtime. Accidents in the house have become very rare. Cumin is a smart little pup with lots of potential. She's already learning commands like "no" and is beginning to master "sit." Like any growing puppy, she loves having plenty of chew toys and balls to help soothe her teething. If you're looking for a playful, affectionate companion who loves outdoor adventures just as much as snuggling up for belly rubs, Cumin is ready to steal your heart! Apply today at ITVrescue All of our dogs are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated if necessary.

Breed overview
Overview:
The Labsky, a charming crossbreed of the Labrador Retriever and the Siberian Husky, originated from the desire to combine the best traits of its beloved parent breeds. Physically, they are medium to large dogs, often exhibiting a fascinating blend of features; expect a robust build, varying coat colors and textures (from sleek black to fluffy merle), and captivating eye colors, sometimes even heterochromia. Temperamentally, Labskies are known for being intelligent, energetic, and loyal. They thrive on human companionship and require significant mental and physical stimulation to prevent boredom, making them best suited for active families or individuals with a large, securely fenced yard. Due to their energy levels and potential for vocalization, they are generally not ideal for apartment living. While typically healthy, they can inherit predispositions to conditions seen in their parent breeds, such as hip and elbow dysplasia, eye conditions, and certain skin allergies, so responsible breeding and regular vet check-ups are crucial.
