Description
Dog Breed: Dalmatian / German Wirehaired Pointer / Mixed (medium coat). Meet George! George is a 51-pound sweetheart who is ready to find a family to call his own. He came to us as a stray, and while someone clearly loved him at one time, no one came to reclaim him. George appears to be housebroken, already knows sit, stay, and paw, and has great manners, making us believe he was once part of a home. One of George's favorite things is playing with tennis balls. He loves carrying them around and is always happy when it's time to play. He also has a lovable habit of standing up to give gentle hugs to the people he meets, and he enjoys soaking up all the attention he can get.Because George came to us as a stray, we do not know how he does with cats, children, or other dogs. A dog-to-dog assessment has not yet been completed. If you already have a dog at home, we encourage you to bring them in for a meet and greet to see if they are a good match.George has so much love to give and is hoping his stay with us will be a short one. If you're looking for a fun, affectionate companion who enjoys playing ball and being close to his people, come meet George. He may be the perfect addition to your family.
