Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / American Staffordshire Terrier / Mixed. Meet Jackson! At 50 pounds and 1½ years old, Jackson may technically be a grown-up, but someone forgot to tell him! This handsome black American Staffordshire mix is still very much a puppy at heart, and he’s ready to fill his forever home with fun, playtime, and plenty of personality. Jackson LOVES toys and is perfectly happy entertaining himself with his favorites. But he’s also discovering that working with his human friends can be pretty rewarding. Our volunteers have already started working with him on some training, and since Jackson is treat-motivated, he’s got all the makings of a fantastic student! He has done well meeting other dogs and has shown that he enjoys canine company. A meet-and-greet will be required with any dogs already living in his potential forever home to make sure everyone is a good match. Jackson is an active, playful guy who would love a family ready to continue his training, keep his mind busy, and give him plenty of opportunities to be the goofy, happy pup that he is.
