Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Pointer / Mixed (medium coat). Foster or forever home wanted, meet Lily Bug! There are so many things that are hard to believe about this beautiful pup's situation. How can she land at one of the busiest, overcrowded shelters in the Los Angeles area and no one comes looking for her in over two weeks! Luckily, a volunteer at the shelter posted an amazing video of Lily Bug when her time was running out and she urgently needed help. We saw the video and took fast action to make sure Lily Bug got out of the shelter safely. Everything we heard about Lily Bug from the shelter volunteers and staff was validated when our volunteer went to pick her up on Wednesday, August 12. When Lily Bug was assessed on intake at the shelter, she was given the best possible behavior score of 1. She was reported as being sweet, wiggly, loving and friendly. After our volunteer picked Lily Bug up from the shelter, she updated us by saying how unbelievable she is. She is partially trained and knows some commands. To see her in person, she is absolutely gorgeous and she is in love with her. Lily Bug will be a great addition to any home and family. Lily Bug came to us a little underweight, so we are also working on getting a little weight on her with extra feeding.
