This young momma found herself and her sole puppy at a humane society in Texas before her puppies eyes were even open. Unfortunately we dont know what happened and if she had more but she is a fierce momma who is very protective of her lone pup. That being said she is ready to leave the single mom life behind and find a family to call her own. Marge is very timid and will take time to warm up but she's been through alot and it takes time to learn humans are ok. She does allow pets and to be picked up and carried. Marge has proven to be a potty training champ with minimal accidents and she does great in a kennel as well. She will need to stay with her baby until shes old enough to be seperated(8-18), as we are still in the process of weening. This gorgeous loving momma will make the perfect addition to any quiet household. Our Pack Animal Rescue, Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue. License #487823. Meet and greets are arranged after an application has been approved. An approved application does not require you to adopt the dog of interest, if it is not a match.

A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
