Description
Dog Breed: Boxer / Pug / Mixed. Meet Coral Coral is a beautiful brindle Boxer/Pug mix who is just about four months old and already proving what a wonderful little companion she can be. At 16 pounds, she’s still very much a puppy, but she’s at that wonderful age where she’s learning quickly and beginning to discover her good puppy manners. Coral is affectionate, playful, and loves a good cuddle. She enjoys playing and wrestling with the other dogs in her foster home, with the occasional puppy zoomie thrown in for good measure. She’s wonderful with children and would love a family who will continue helping her grow into the happy, confident dog she’s meant to be. She’s doing really well with both house-training and crate-training and even sleeps through the night like a champ. She’s still learning what this whole leash thing is about, but with patience and practice, we’re confident she’ll catch on. Coral has so much potential. She’s sweet, fun-loving, affectionate, and ready to grow up alongside a family who will love her for all the years to come. She has not been cat-tested. If you’re looking for a puppy who will give you plenty of love, plenty of laughs, and a lifetime of companionship, Coral may just be your girl.

Breed overview
Overview:
The Box-a-Pug, a charming crossbreed originating from the playful Boxer and the endearing Pug, combines the best of both worlds into a delightful companion. Typically a medium-sized dog, they inherit a sturdy, muscular build from the Boxer, often paired with the Pug's distinctive flat face and expressive eyes, though the muzzle can be slightly longer than a purebred Pug's. Their coat is usually short and smooth, coming in various colors like fawn, brindle, or black. Temperamentally, Box-a-Pugs are known for being affectionate, loyal, and playful, making them excellent family pets. They adapt well to apartment living if given sufficient daily exercise, enjoying walks and interactive play. As with many brachycephalic (flat-faced) breeds, they can be prone to respiratory issues and may struggle in extreme heat, requiring careful monitoring. Regular vet check-ups are also advisable for potential joint problems inherited from their parent breeds. Overall, the Box-a-Pug is a loving and engaging companion for a variety of households.
