Description
Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed (medium coat). Adoption Fee: $350. Hello everyone, My name is Livvey! I am a terrier mix, around two years old, weigh 13 pounds, and am fully grown. People tell me all the time how cute, pretty and sweet I am too! While I can be quite shy and nervous when meeting new people, I am gentle and not prone to nipping. I enjoy playing with fluffy toys, getting my belly rubbed and chasing after my furry foster sisters. My very favorite thing to do though is to cuddle with my people. I never seem to get close enough! Oh, I'm house trained too and use the doggy door like a pro! I'd love a home with another furry playmate for me. Having a sibling will help grow my confidence while showing me the ropes. A home without small children would be best because of my size. If you are ready to give me a loving forever home apply to meet me here! bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
