Dog Breed: Cattle Dog / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: $350.00. Hi. I’m Joose. I’m 3 months old, about 7 pounds, and I’m a terrier/cattle dog mix but I’ve got something long and low ridin’ in me… I can’t make any promises but … trust me. I can feel it! I’m not really sure what a breed is, but I assume it explains why I’m cute and shaped the way I am. I lost my mama and somehow I ended up here with these people who keep feeding me, cuddling me, and providing me with an unreasonable number of soft places to sleep so I’m doing good over here . I’m a pretty relaxed little guy. My energy level is about a 4 out of 10. I enjoy playing and checking things out, but I also believe strongly in the importance of taking plenty of naps. Heavy napping is, in fact, one of my specialties. I’m a cuddle bug. If you’re in the living room, I’ll join. If you sit down, me too. If there’s a lap available, I feel it would be irresponsible not to investigate. I’m curious about the world. I like wandering around outside and seeing what’s going on. I’ll venture a little farther from your feet than some puppies do, but don’t worry — I’m not going anywhere. I’m an explorer, not a fugitive. I LOVE food, toys and I especially love the grass! I love soft puppy beds and couches. If you can’t find me, I’m tucked away in one somewhere. I’m also great with other dogs! I’m friendly, playful, and enjoy having some puppy friends around. But I’d be perfectly happy being your one-and-only little dude, too! I’m about 80% potty trained, which means I’m doing my very best and occasionally still have a little administrative error. We’re working on it. I sleep quietly through the night in my kennel. Once it’s time to sleep, I’m like, “Okay, everybody. See you tomorrow.” And off I go. I am currently teething, because apparently growing up requires me to have very itchy little gums. I occasionally forget that fingers are attached to the people who are trying to pet me and give them a tiny nibble. It’s pretty rare, and I’m learning that toys are much better for chewing than humans. I’m just a baby, so with some patience and redirection, I’ll grow right out of this stage. I’ve never met a cat, but chances are a cat is bigger than me so I wouldn’t take it on I’d likely avoid it. I don’t need a big exciting life. A little playtime, some grass, a few toys, a cozy place to nap, some snacks, a couple of good dog friends, and a person to cuddle with sounds pretty perfect to me. Actually, if you could add unlimited snacks, I think we have ourselves a deal. I’m Joose.
