Dog Breed: Shih Tzu / Lhasa Apso / Mixed. Meeko is a tiny, joyful Shih Tzu mix who has quickly become a staff favorite at Sammy’s Hope. He is just under 1 year old and weighing just 9 pounds, he arrived as a stray with severely overgrown, matted hair. After a much needed grooming, Meeko is now soft as silk and looking—and feeling—so much better. Meeko is a very friendly, social little dog who loves meeting new people. He enjoys playtime and is happy to entertain himself with toys when no one is available to join in. He eats well, walks nicely on a leash, and has an easygoing, cheerful personality that makes him a delight to be around. Meeko is an affectionate companion with a playful spirit and ready to bring joy and plenty of tail wags to his new family. If you are interested in meeting Meeko, please complete an Interest Form.
