Meet Minion, a handsome 3½-year-old neutered Blue Brindle Boston Terrier who is ready to trade his past for the happily-ever-after he deserves! Minion came to us as part of a humane case, and while his past may have been less than supervillain-worthy, this little guy is ready to put those days behind him and start his next chapter. He may not be plotting world domination, but he is determined to take over your couch, your heart, and possibly your entire schedule. ??Like any good Minion, he has a BIG personality packed into a compact package! He knows what he likes â and one thing he definitely doesn't like is sharing his Minion army with other dogs. Minion would prefer to be the one-and-only dog in his forever home. But here's where things get interesting⦠In his previous home, Minion lived with a rabbit, and during his foster stay, he has lived with cats! However, just because he has successfully lived with them before doesn't mean he'll automatically feel the same way about every new animal. All introductions should be slow, thoughtful, and supervised, and his past experiences are not a guarantee of how he will behave in a new environment. So, what does Minion want? A forever human (or humans) to adore A cozy spot to supervise the household Someone who appreciates a little Boston Terrier sass A home where he can be the top Minion And, most importantly, a family who will love him for the goofy, special little guy he is Minion has done his time waiting for someone to give him his happily ever after. If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the home. While play groups do help us get to know the dog's better, once they are adopted their new environments and new relationships will influence their behavior in ways we cannot predict. The Adoption Fee Includes: - initial canine distemper combination vaccination - first worming or stool check - rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age) - 24 PetWatch microchipping - flea treatment/preventative - spaying or neutering -heartworm testing Adoption fee: $175.00 Per state law chapter 25.4, adopters must purchase a non-refundable 2026 dog license at time of adoption for any canine three months and older. The cost of the license is $9.20. (Senior Citizen or Person with Disability-$7.20) Leash and collar included.

The Boston Terrier, affectionately known as the "American Gentleman," originated in the late 19th century in Boston, Massachusetts, making it one of the few breeds developed in the U.S. Physically, they are compact and muscular, typically weighing between 12 and 25 pounds, with a distinctive "tuxedo" coat pattern—black or brindle with white markings on the muzzle, chest, and often a blaze between the eyes. Temperamentally, Boston Terriers are friendly, intelligent, and lively, known for their charming personalities and unwavering loyalty. They adapt well to various living situations, making them excellent companions for both families with children and individuals in apartments, as long as they receive adequate exercise and mental stimulation. Regarding health, they are a brachycephalic (short-nosed) breed, so care must be taken in hot weather to prevent overheating, and they can be prone to eye conditions and patellar luxation.
