Meet Jake from State Farm! “Uh… what are you wearing?” Hopefully, your answer is: “A comfy outfit, because I’m coming to meet Jake!” Jake is a 2-year-old, 14-pound little guy who is ready to find his forever home. He’s the perfect size for someone looking for a small companion with a big personality! Jake has previously lived with other dogs and cats. However, every pet and every home is different, so this experience is not a guarantee of how Jake will do with other animals in his new home. Slow, appropriate introductions and giving everyone time to adjust will be important. If you’re looking for a pint-sized buddy who could be the best part of your day, Jake may just be your guy! So, who’s ready to bring home Jake from State Farm? If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the home. While play groups do help us get to know the dog's better, once they are adopted their new environments and new relationships will influence their behavior in ways we cannot predict. The Adoption Fee Includes: - initial canine distemper combination vaccination - first worming or stool check - rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age) - 24 PetWatch microchipping - flea treatment/preventative - spaying or neutering -heartworm testing Adoption fee: $175.00 Per state law chapter 25.4, adopters must purchase a non-refundable 2024 dog license at time of adoption for any canine three months and older. The cost of the license is $7.20. (Senior Citizen or Person with Disability-$5.20) Leash and collar included.
