Dog Breed: Poodle (Standard) (long coat). Adoption Fee: $250.00. Meet Tami! This spectacular senior was born in May 2017, and first came to WAG in 2023. At that time she was in a home that had a lot going on, and they felt she needed a family who could give her more attention. We thought we had found that home, but after nearly 3 years, the adopter had some changes in their work situation and felt they needed to return her. Shortly after coming back to WAG, we were able to get her into a foster home and have been learning more about Tami's personality. More than anything, she wants to be close with her people. She'll join you on the couch for snuggles and lean in for extra closeness. If she can't be with people, she becomes distressed and will bark, so having a family that is home most of the time or can take her with them would be ideal. Tami does well with children and calm dogs, and does not appear to have a high prey drive (although we've never seen her behavior around cats). Tami is a wonderful addition to an active family!
