Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat). ***The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at .emmetcountyanimalshelter meet n greets are set by appointment only with approved applicants*** Benny is a sweet young guy just looking for someone who thinks he can be their snuggle buddy. His owner surrendered him due to moving. He might be about 60 pounds on the outside but he's on 10 on the inside! Benny would do best in a home where he has a dog buddy or a human that is home quite a bit. Benny is currently in foster with a prior alum of ours and the two boys do great together. There is also a cat and a young human. Benny is kennel trained, leash trained, house trained and is generally just a gentle guy. He is about 2.5 years, neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. He would love to have a family that is really into having a dog be a big part of their day and activities. His adoption fee is $275.00
