Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat). Please note that PAHS does NOT do online adoption applications. You must come to the shelter in person to meet the PAHS pets. Vanilla is a 5-month-old female Pit/Lab mix who was found near a local subdivision and never reclaimed by her owner. She is a beautiful light tan girl with white markings on her chest and feet, weighing 24 pounds, and is expected to reach a medium adult size. Vanilla has a sweet, outgoing personality and would thrive in a home with children and other dogs. She is both playful and affectionate, making her a delightful companion. Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120. Cat/kitten adoption fees are $75. All pets will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a discount spay/neuter certificate to be used at participating vet clinics to help with the cost of spay/neuter. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under "special needs" our dogs have screened heart worm negative. *****Please note that PAHS does NOT do online adoption applications.
