Dog Breed: Boxer (short coat). Meet Ecuador. This shy 1–2 year old Boxer was one of 14 dogs seized from a condemned property where they were living covered in fleas, feces and urine, with little to no socialization. By the time they reached the shelter, the environment was so overwhelming that many of them simply shut down. Ecuador was one of those dogs. For the first few days in foster, he wouldn’t eat or even leave the corner of his kennel. He was scared and completely overwhelmed by this strange new world. But three days later… He’s eating. He’s starting to come out of his shell. And most importantly, he’s beginning to wonder what this whole good life thing is about. Apparently, it starts with breakfast. “What’s for breakfast?” may sound like a little thing, but for Ecuador, it’s a HUGE step. ❤️ Keep going, sweet boy. You’re safe now. chboxerrescue/adopt/
