Dog Breed: Pug / Mixed. Sweet little June Bug is the kind of dog who doesn’t need much to be happy just a soft place to nap, a person to love, and a cozy spot right next to you. At 3 years old and just 13 pounds, June is the ultimate little couch potato. She absolutely loves to cuddle with her person and would be more than happy to spend most of the day curled up beside you, sleeping the day away. She does enjoy short walks around the neighborhood, especially when she can take her time and stop for lots of long, important sniffs. But once she’s home, she’s ready to get back to her favorite activity: relaxing. June has the silliest, sassiest personality and is sure to keep you laughing. She knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to let you know when she disagrees! She can be stubborn when asked to do something she has decided she doesn’t want to do, but that independent little personality is also part of what makes her so lovable. June does well with dogs around her size. She can be a bit of a boss lady with big dogs, so she would be happiest in a home with smaller, easygoing canine companions. She hasn’t met cats yet, so we don’t know how she feels about feline friends. She is wonderful with children of all ages and would make a sweet family companion. One of June’s best qualities is how easygoing she is. She rides like a dream in the car, making her a great little companion for errands, road trips, or simply tagging along wherever her person goes. June does have a few funny little quirks. Thunderstorms make her nervous and she’ll bark when she hears noises outside the home. She also firmly believes that puddles are to be avoided at all costs. More than anything, June Bug is looking for someone who will appreciate her exactly as she is — a little sassy, a little stubborn, incredibly silly, and very, very loving. She doesn’t need a busy or adventurous life. She would be perfectly content being your little shadow, taking leisurely walks, snuggling on the couch, and knowing she finally has a person of her own. If you’re looking for a loyal little companion with a huge personality and a heart full of love, June Bug is waiting to be your girl. Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200.
